Hello, Pullman Good Food Co-op Member/Owners!We have lots of exciting things going on this Spring, as you can see below, in addition to our ongoing search for a location.  Everything we’ve built so far is thanks to our volunteers. We’re making great progress on a new business plan that will get us one step closer to opening our doors, but to complete those next steps, we urgently need more volunteers to join us! We have charters for a number of committees, and we need your help staffing them to ensure we have all the skills we need to open our doors. Learn more by joining our volunteer discussion group at https://pgfc.groups.io or filling out our Volunteer form.  Yours in co-operation, Andy Jacobs, PGFC Board Chair/Treasurer Rick Edge AlyssaMarie Link Matt Smylie, Secretary |
![]() Have you tried Pullman Market Monday yet? We're headed into our third month of Pullman Market Monday, which lets you directly support various local/regional farmers, and pick up your order all in one place once a week. Thanks to your support as both customers and volunteers, this replacement for the Pullman Farmers Market is a hit, and we hope you'll give it a try this month!  All orders placed throughout the week on https://rekohub.com/buyer-market-detail/914 by Saturday at Noon will be available for pickup the following Monday from 4-6pm at Terracotta Pullman in Downtown Pullman. All orders not picked up by 6 p.m. will be surrendered and donated to local food pantries.  Farmers/producers that you can choose from on the site include:
Please bring reusable bags with you to bring your orders home.  By providing local farmers/producers with online orders days in advance, you'll be financially supporting them directly, helping them optimize their production, and allowing them to minimize their time off the farm. If you have any questions about Market Monday, reach out to us at hello@pullmangoodfoodcoop.com |
PGFC Board of Director Elections are Coming Next Month!Three of seven PGFC Board positions are open in this year’s election, each one serving a three-year term, expiring in 2028. Before applying, we ask that you please review the Elections page on our website for the job description, eligibility requirements, code of conduct, and Statement of Agreement. Candidates for the Board are also strongly encouraged to attend one of our monthly meetings as a guest to observe our process in person.  This is an exciting time for the co-op as we look to build a team that will get us into a location and move to the development phase. If you are a PGFC member-owner, and are interested in helping make a food co-op in Pullman a reality, we strongly encourage you to apply.  Applications are due by May 22, and online elections will run from June 10-17, with election results announced on June 18.  If you or someone you know is interested in joining the Board, or you have questions about the duties of a Board member, please contact us at hello@pullmangoodfoodcoop.com |
