Hello, Pullman Good Food Co-op Member/Owners!We would like to welcome Garth Mader to the Pullman Good Food Co-op Board of Directors.
From Garth: "I believe deeply in the mission of the Pullman Good Food Co-op — and the power it has to bring fresh, local, community-driven food to the people of Pullman. I’m excited to join the board as Location Committee Chair to help accelerate our path to a permanent home. It’s time to get the Co-op open and serving this community!"
We would also like to thank Rick Edge for his time and hard work on the PGFC Board, and wish him well as departs the Board next week.
Even with Garth's addition to the PGFC Board, we are in desperate need of folks from the Pullman community to become additional board candidates and volunteers. At this crucial time when we are working on an updated business plan for a smaller store, we need fresh energy and ideas to keep things moving.
Are you interested in helping to make a food co-op in Pullman a reality? We have charters for a number of committees, and we need your help staffing them to ensure we have all the skills we need to open our doors. Learn more by joining our volunteer discussion group at https://pgfc.groups.io or filling out our Volunteer form.
Yours in co-operation, Andy Jacobs, PGFC Board Chair/Treasurer Rick Edge AlyssaMarie Link, Pullman Market Monday Chair Garth Mader, Location Committee Chair Matt Smylie, Secretary |

It's a great time to try Pullman Market Monday! The temperatures are heating up, and so is the variety of farmers/producers that are offering their products as part of Pullman Market Monday!
We just added Flannigan Creek Flower Farm's gorgeous Wrapped Peony Bouquets, which you can add to your order of meat, seafood, herbs, fresh produce, eggs, and more!
All orders placed throughout the week on https://rekohub.com/buyer-market-detail/914 by Saturday at Noon will be available for pickup the following Monday from 4-6pm at Terracotta Pullman in Downtown Pullman. All orders not picked up by 6 p.m. will be surrendered and donated to local food pantries.
By providing local farmers/producers with online orders days in advance, you'll be financially supporting them directly, helping them optimize their production, and allowing them to minimize their time off the farm. If you have any questions about Market Monday, reach out to us at hello@pullmangoodfoodcoop.com |
